Rather than have a major membership drive, this committee will strive to conduct an ongoing new member outlook. Our overall goal for new membership is approximately 50 during the fiscal year or about 4 per month. The committee will try to formulate a plan, which will address the constant influx of new members.

In order to retain existing members, a proper atmosphere must be created and maintained. Such activities as new member orientation; welcome letters to new members; greeting of new members when they attend our meetings; introduction of new members at our meetings and help new members to become actively involved, going forward.

Also this committee has the responsibility of collecting the annual dues, which should be coming due June, July, and August. Then it is necessary that the funds received be reconciled with the treasurer. As an ongoing portion of this responsibility, it will be necessary that the bills for renewal membership get mailed out the first week of June
