Welcome to the East Jefferson
Business Association
Since 1960, East Jefferson Business Association has provided a forum for business professionals to promote business development and civic progress in East Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
About EJBA
EJBA’s mission is to serve all individuals with a business interest in East Jefferson Parish. Priority is given to promoting and improving the business climate in our community and to promoting members’ businesses to each other.
EJBA is led by a 15-member Board of Directors. Each month a luncheon meeting is held with a great guest speaker, providing opportunities for discussion of timely topics and issues and for networking among members. EJBA also has periodic social and special events.

To achieve its mission, the EJBA gives priority to those matters in which business interests are most significant:
- Promote a business climate in East Jefferson Parish conducive to business growth and development.
- Assist members through programs, education and information in adapting to and progressing in the economic environment.
- Unite members in meeting and exchange ideas in promotion of mutual business interests.
- Serve as a representative to its members to parish and state government to consider business interests in all of their operations.
- Promote standards for business conduct and performance.
- Promote public confidence in the integrity and competence of East Jefferson.
- Promote the quality of education in East Jefferson Parish as a requirement for business development.
- Encourage individuals who qualify to become members of EJBA.
